Rental Policy

Welcome to NQ Rentals Cars. Please read our Rental Policy carefully before booking. These terms ensure a smooth, safe, and transparent rental experience for all customers.

1. Eligibility to Rent

  • Renters must be 21 years or older.

  • A valid driver’s licence is required. International renters may need an International Driving Permit (IDP).

  • Additional drivers must be authorised and listed in the rental agreement.

2. Booking & Payment

  • Full payment or a booking advance may be required to confirm a reservation.

  • A refundable security deposit is mandatory and varies based on vehicle type.

  • We accept major credit/debit cards and secure online payments.

3. Vehicle Pickup & Return

  • Vehicles must be picked up and returned at the agreed date, time, and location.

  • Late returns may incur additional charges.

  • Cars must be returned in the same condition as delivered, including fuel level.

  • Any delay must be informed in advance to avoid penalties.

4. Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles are provided with a specific fuel level and must be returned at the same level.

  • If returned with less fuel, a refuelling charge will apply.

5. Kilometre Policy

  • Most rentals include unlimited kilometres, unless stated otherwise.

  • Special or premium vehicles may have kilometre limits.

6. Insurance & Damage

  • All vehicles come with basic insurance coverage.

  • Renters are responsible for any damage, loss, or accidents not covered by insurance.

  • In case of an accident, you must immediately inform our team and follow the required procedures.

7. Breakdown & Roadside Assistance

  • We offer 24/7 roadside assistance for mechanical issues.

  • Assistance for driver negligence (flat tyre, lost keys, empty fuel, etc.) may incur additional fees.

8. Prohibited Use

The vehicle must NOT be used for:

  • Illegal activities

  • Off-road driving (unless specified)

  • Racing, towing, or unsafe driving

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs

  • Transporting dangerous or hazardous materials

Any violation may lead to immediate termination of the rental and additional penalties.

9. Cleanliness & Smoking Policy

  • Smoking, vaping, or carrying strong-odour items is strictly prohibited.

  • Excessive dirt, pet hair, or stains may result in cleaning charges.

10. Cancellation & Changes

  • Cancellations are allowed as per our cancellation terms (varies by booking type).

  • No-show bookings may not be eligible for a refund.

  • Booking modifications depend on vehicle availability.

11. Traffic Violations & Fines

  • Renters are fully responsible for any traffic tickets, toll charges, or fines incurred during the rental period.

12. Lost or Damaged Accessories

  • Charges may apply for lost or damaged keys, GPS units, chargers, child seats, or other add-on accessories.

13. Privacy & Data Use

Your personal information is handled securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
